About Us

A Few Words

About Us

We aim to address the multifaceted challenges faced by small-scale farmers in Kenya. This includes:

This is achieved through promoting climate resilient agricultural practices, efficient water management, strengthening economic opportunities for vulnerable populations and introducing nutrition-sensitive agricultural approaches

Our Mission

To enhance the adaptive capacity of smallholder farmers through sustainable agriculture, improved water access, financial inclusion, and nutrition-sensitive practices.

Our Vision

A climate-resilient Kenya where every household is food-secure and economically empowered.

What Inspires Us

Problem Statement

Kenya has arid and semi-arid regions that face persistent food insecurity, water scarcity, and declining agricultural productivity due to the adverse effects of climate change. This has made traditional rain-fed agriculture unsustainable, leading to increased poverty and malnutrition among vulnerable populations. The situation is exacerbated by inadequate knowledge on climate adaptation, limited market access, and weak water management infrastructure which has lead to lack of access to clean water.

With 87% of the population being reliant on agriculture for a living, these issues require to be addressed to improve the well being of these communities.
